hello

Visual Archeology:

Thank you for taking the time to inspect these documents. Presented before you is a sampling of the different vocabularies in which my work is spoken. The work is both archeological and scientific in methodology, using the past as a catalyst to explore unseen directions in creativity. It is a autobiographical timeline, the research and development of my life.

Paint is a living medium that allows the user to convey emotion and give context to intuition. Theses works are intended to be abstract sentimental paint studies that use popular iconography to allow the viewer to associate with work leaving them more open to the energetic quality of the paint. Color is also another powerful tool used to increase the visual tactility of the paintings, giving them a look you can feel. Fundamentally each piece is meant to be imbued with joy and serve the purpose of projecting positivity to the world.

Thank you for your consideration, please feel free to contact me if you have any further question or comments.

Future first,

-jke

A multi-faced shadow cries out, singing softly to the DNA of our imagination. Close your eyes, inhale the ether, and exhale what comes.Dreams beckon the night to dawn the daylight. Take hold the future tight, it soon becomes the past.
